Outdoor Classroom at King’s-Edgehill School
This outdoor classroom at a private IB school in Windsor, Nova Scotia, was finished in the school colours, red with off-white. The red frame colour is called “Golden Gate”, named after the latest colour of the iconic bridge in San Francisco. They have a long history of small aircraft hitting the bridge in thick fog. They tried many different colors and found this particular shade of red to be the best.
Obviously, no small planes will find themselves flying into this space on a foggy day. Soccer balls, perhaps.
