The Newcomb (The Rand Cottage)

Inside, the cottage seems much more spacious than its 908 square feet would suggest. It is a comfortable, cozy living space for a couple of adults and the occasional visitors. (Click photos to enlarge.)

The Newcomb is actually a hybrid timber frame, with conventionally-framed walls but a timber framed roof structure and some supporting posts.
