Garage and storage at Lyndhurst Farms

This garage for a large farming operation features a significant upstairs storage space. Others might choose to put a starter apartment there, or a "granny suite." It reminds us of our Garage House Plan - the type of thing you might build on a cottage lot to finish and live in when you retire, which strikes us as economical way to go about it.

Most of the timbers were sawn from trees on the farm that blew down in Hurricane Juan. They include spruce, white pine, and some red pine.

Lyndhurst Farms hosts the highly successful Agrifest, a "unique outdoor celebration of agriculture, food and the outdoors", organized by AgraPoint International.
